The black lambskin leather still feels very soft and supple and shows very nicely. The leather shows some typical signs of gentle aging and light wear including surface wrinkles, minor surface marks, small scratches and some rubbing wear along the edges of the bottom corners. There is some wear through the leather piping trim on 3 of the 4 bottom corner edges, though this is only noticeable when closely inspected and is certainly not something anyone would immediately notice while you are carrying it. The handles feel strong and sturdy and are in good condition. The bags black color appears to be quite nice and bold this is because this piece was always cared for and conditioned regularly to maintain its softness and to keep it nice and supple. The silver tone hardware parts have very good silver color and a very nice shine with only minor signs of aging or markings. The bags interior is very clean throughout. The zipper is running very smoothly and the leather zipper pull tab is in very good shape. The included Chanel cloth drawstring dust bag is in very good, clean condition.
