The calfskin leather is in good condition throughout with light signs of gentle age and light wear including minor surface wrinkles, light surface scratches, and some light surface scuffing and rubbing wear along the bottom corner edges. Much of the aging and wear to the leather exterior can be made to look great with a bit of leather conditioner. There is also some typical light deformation to the case, but it takes shape nicely when full. The handle feels strong and sturdy and shows some gentle signs of aging and wear including light surface wrinkles and a bit of surface scuffing from being carried. The zipper is running nice and smoothly and the gold tone zipper pull tab shows some signs of aging and wear including dulling and tarnishing, but still looks pretty good from normal viewing distances. The interior is in pretty good condition and shows some signs of age and wear including light surface scratches, minor marks, and small discolorations a little leather conditioner would probably improve the interior nicely. Overall, this is a great bargain piece and with some cleaning and conditioning it could look even better.
