The patent leather still has a pretty good, consistent shine, with some surface marks, discolorations, surface scuffing, and some typical surface wrinkles. This bag has a very unique pearly lilac purple color with a hint of metallic color if you look closely. The lilac color shows some variations in darkness and deepness here and there which is very common for these lighter colored bags as they age. Additionally it looks as though the lilac color has, over time changed to a rose gold type color. There are a few pink/red marks on the front of the bag see photos. The bottom corner edges are in good condition with some scuffing to the lilac color and glossy finish. There is a tiny bit of scuffing along the top corners of the opening to the main compartment. The handles feel strong and sturdy with a few tiny marks and minimal wrinkling from being carried. The zipper is running nice and smoothly and the matte silver zipper pull chain and medallion hardware are in very good condition. The interior and additional sleeve pockets are in very good, clean condition with a only a few tiny marks. Overall, this is a pretty nice, presentable, bargain priced Chanel bag.
