The patent leather still has a pretty good, consistent shine, with some surface marks, discolorations, surface scuffing, and some typical surface wrinkles. This bag has a very unique pearly yellow / gold color with a hint of metallic color if you look closely. The yellow color shows some variations in darkness and deepness here and there which is very common for these lighter colored bags as they age. The bottom corner edges show some scuffing to the yellow color and glossy finish. There is a tiny bit of scuffing along the top corners of the opening to the main compartment. The handles feel strong and sturdy with a few tiny marks, minimal wrinkling, and some slight discolorations from being carried. The zipper is running but would benefit from a tiny bit of lubrication to have it running nice and smoothly again. The matte silver zipper pull chain and medallion hardware is in very good condition. The main interior is in good condition with only a few tiny marks. The interior sleeve pockets are in pretty good condition from a few small marks. This bag has a bit of a musty storage scent which can be improved or removed by letting it hang out in fresh air for a few hours and or the use of Febreze or similar product. Overall, this is a great bargain priced Chanel bag for those looking for low cost luxury.
