Chanel Wallet Chain Ancient Greek Braided Gold Metal Beige Canvas On Leather Clutch

Chanel Canvas Leather bag from Cruise 2018 collection. Unique braided canvas on a supple leather. The canvas work is incredibly intricate. Honestly, when I decided to part with this work of art I wasnt sure what the outer material was. I call it canvas because Ive seen it described that way, but there is a fiber like texture to it. I do not presently see another one for sale anywhere!This piece has a magical quality about it with its three! charms.The charms are works of art in themselves. First is a charm that I think is supposed to depict the ancient Greek temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. Chanel, however, took some playful if not vain liberties with its rendition as the base of this charm reads "Chanel" on one side and there are Greek letters on the other side which appear to spell out Chanel. The second charm is the Chanel logo. The third charm is a gold colored head of an owl. I believe it is the Athene Notura which means "little owl." The creatures genus, Noctura, means goddess of the night. How fitting for a piece that will make you a goddess of the night! The crazy thing about this owl is that each of its eyes have the Chanel logo!I used purse two times. Excellent condition. It comes with the authenticity card, dust bag, tags from the new purchase and box. Each of these is the original. Stored in a non smoking household.
